The Pepperwood Residence is a modern house designed to be authentic to the northern Utah mountain landscape - rugged, in a style we like to call “mountain industrial.” Everything that touches the earth is stone and board-formed concrete, and everything that projects out is airy composed of white and glass. The wood finishes on the soffits and interior ceilings create a strong inside-out connection and are intended to make the occupants feel warm and protected.

This project designs a serene home embracing wabi sabi aesthetics, featuring natural wood cladding that ages beautifully over time. The design integrates with the landscape, utilizing large windows and sliding doors to connect with nature. Interiors emphasize simplicity, functionality, and natural imperfections, with sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems enhancing the home's beauty and environmental responsibility.

Dubbed “Tiger Oak” for its use of quarter-saw oak, this Provo Riverbottom residence has all the charm of old world flavor and all of the unapologetic punch of client personality. The task of this home was to create a home that blended into the established neighborhood but was unreserved upon entry.

Modern remodel/addition for a home in the Edgemont area in Provo, Utah. Completed in Collaboration with Fine Design Construction, the home was designed and built as a spec home.

Lake front home in Bear Lake, Utah

The Youthlinc Center has been developed around the concept that the building is to act as a community center built a “Youthlinc Foundation” – with the office on the bottom level supporting the upper level community space. On the exterior there are four predominate features that physically connect the Youthlinc Foundation with the Upper Community Center. These four features are symbolic of Youthlinc’s core programs/values: leadership, learning, service, and mentoring. These values, and the Youthlinc Foundation, link together to raise the community to a higher and better place.

The Provo Hillside captures 360 degree panoramic views that cannot be missed. Programmatically it is divided by a central three-story staircase that celebrates the act of movement. To reduce the impact on the site, cantilevers are utilized for both shading and to minimize the footprint on the hillside.

Designed and built for a family that knows how to party, the Wallsburg Farmhouse boasts natural light, large gathering areas, and a deck to prove they work hard and play even harder.
